The Pride Premier Solitaire Hotel, Dehradun
The Pride Premier Solitaire Hotel project involves the transformation of hospitality interiors through updated materials, spatial design and a contemporary visual language.

The Playroom, Nehru Colony, Dehradun

The project combines recreational areas, party spaces and functional planning to support different activities within a single interior environment.
Its design demonstrates how commercial interiors can be shaped around a specific user group and a clearly defined business concept.
Luxury Residences Across Dehradun
Residential architecture is another important part of the studio's work.
The practice undertakes luxury residences and contemporary homes with attention to floor plan efficiency, natural light, ventilation, privacy, facade composition and interior design.
Each residential project presents a different set of challenges based on its plot dimensions, surroundings, family requirements and budget.
The objective is to create a home that is visually distinctive while remaining comfortable and practical for everyday living.
The Design Philosophy of Ar. Siddharth Kapoor
Architecture is not simply about creating attractive elevations or visually impressive interiors. It is about understanding the relationship between people, spaces, materials and the environment.
At Siddharth Kapoor Design Studio, the design process is guided by several considerations.
Contemporary Architecture with a Purpose
Contemporary architecture offers opportunities to explore simple forms, balanced proportions, natural materials, glazing and thoughtful facade compositions.
However, visual expression should always be supported by functional planning.
The architectural approach considers how the building will be used, how spaces connect and how the design responds to its physical context.
Understanding the Site and Its Surroundings
Every project begins with a different site, and the site should influence the design.
Orientation, natural light, ventilation, surrounding views, topography, access and applicable regulations all play a role in developing a practical architectural solution.
In Uttarakhand, where projects can range from urban plots to sloping sites surrounded by greenery, site-responsive planning is particularly relevant.
Integrating Architecture and Interiors
Architecture and interiors should work together rather than be treated as entirely separate disciplines.
The placement of openings, ceiling heights, circulation, furniture layouts, materials and lighting can influence the quality of the completed space.
Considering these elements together during design development can create a more cohesive result.
Balancing Aesthetics and Practicality
An architectural design should respond to the client's aspirations while considering construction feasibility, maintenance, material performance and budget.
A well-planned project does not necessarily require the most expensive materials or the most complicated architectural forms.
Thoughtful proportions, efficient layouts, suitable materials and carefully resolved details can contribute significantly to the quality of a building.
A Young Architect's Role in Dehradun's Evolving Built Environment
Dehradun and the wider Uttarakhand region continue to see a range of residential, hospitality and commercial development proposals.
As architectural expectations evolve, younger architects are bringing new perspectives to contemporary design, visualisation, materials and spatial planning.
For a young architect, building a professional practice involves more than developing a recognisable design style. It requires understanding clients, coordinating consultants, managing project requirements and delivering well-documented design solutions.
Ar. Siddharth Kapoor's work through Siddharth Kapoor Design Studio reflects this combination of creative exploration and professional practice.
His growing portfolio across residential, commercial and hospitality projects forms the foundation of his professional identity among Dehradun's emerging architects.
